BIOGRAPHY
Eric W. Zimmer, CMES
Eric Zimmer is a certified medical exercise specialist and professional dancer who specializes in functional fitness, optimal movement proficiency, longevity, and injury prevention.
Eric has completed in-depth studies in anatomy, physiology, kinesiology and biomechanics. This knowledge provides him with exceptional insight into the physical mechanics of movement. As a result, Eric excels in the development of wholistic, preventive wellness programs that address postural and alignment concerns and manage musculoskeletal pain in the dance and fitness population.
Eric has a professional dance background in ballet, modern, jazz, and ballroom. He is a current competitor and teacher at the Masters level in the United Country Western Dance Council (UCWDC). Eric's varied background in fitness, movement, health, and dance expertise allows him to see clients and students dealing with physical discomfort as well as those seeking higher levels of technical dance.
